The Location

Nestled among rolling hills, a forest with groomed trails, and with a cascading waterfall feature, this classic setting offers a stunning outdoor backdrop for your big day. With sweeping views in every direction, it’s a peaceful, picturesque escape where nature sets the tone for a celebration that feels both timeless and elegant.

Garden Chapel​

This charming open-aired chapel features manicured gardens encasing your aisle entrance while the natural landscape of Whistle Bear’s golf course provides the perfect backdrop. A retractable peaked roof provides complete protection from the weather.

The Forestview Room & Terrace​

A truly grand space, the Forestview Room, with its 20-foot ceilings and exposed hand-carved pine beams, lends its splendour best to a wedding reception. Casement windows and a private terrace offer breathtaking views overlooking the golf course and a vista that includes the nearby forest and inspiring sunsets.

The Grandview Room & Terrace

This romantic and inviting room features a stunning 20-foot mirrored vaulted ceiling with intricate wood-carved details and beautiful crystal chandeliers. While windows on two sides bring natural light into the room, a striking fireplace draws you in and creates a stylish focal point and backdrop.

Adding an al fresco touch is the room’s private outdoor garden.

The Rose Room & Terrace​

With surrounding windows, this room captures Whistle Bear’s natural landscape, while the elegant 20-foot ceiling with exposed hand-carved beams and beautiful crystal chandeliers add a romantic touch.

A private outdoor terrace, overlooking the golf course, is the perfect place for pre and post dinner cocktails.

The Woodland Room

Modern sophistication and contemporary furnishings provide a stunning backdrop for hosting any intimate gathering. While windows on three sides of the room provide an airy ambiance, the feature fireplace adds luxury and comfort no matter the time of year. Complete with a custom bar and luxurious lounge furniture it is the perfect space for any event.

At Whistle Bear, our culinary team blends tradition and innovation to create an unforgettable dining experience. Rooted in Pearle Hospitality’s farm-to-table approach, each menu showcases the best of Ontario’s seasonal ingredients and thoughtful preparation. Guests enjoy à la carte entrées ordered tableside, while couples are invited to a complimentary menu tasting to explore their options and tailor the menu to their vision.

From her beginnings as a Maitre d’ at The Pearle Hotel to her time at Cambridge Mill and now Whistle Bear Golf Club, she’s guided countless couples in bringing their vision to life. Her thoughtful approach ensures each celebration feels personal, seamless, and filled with joy.

My husband and I got married on October 4th and we could not say enough good things about our experience at Whistle Bear; they exceeded our expectations.
The Garden Chapel (ceremony space) is gorgeous – we loved the indoor/outdoor feel without worrying about weather constraints. We were in the Rose Room for our reception and not only was It beautiful, but it gave us access to a private balcony, a private waterfall, and fire pits. Even though there were a few other weddings happening on the same day, we did not have any overlap at all, and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The food was excellent – we had many comments from our guests raving about their dinner. The drinks were flowing all night thanks to the amazing bartenders. All of the staff were friendly, professional and accommodating.

My new husband and I, along with our family and friends, were blown away by the quality of service the WB staff provided. I was surprised to see how many people on the WB team were helping out the day of, which made everything run so smoothly from start to finish. There were no hiccups, and everyone was amazed by the beauty of the venue as well as the food served! So many options, even for the guests with dietary restrictions. They even got us “to-go” cocktails and appetizers during the transition from ceremony to couple photos on the property. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’ve been to, and I’d have to agree!! I HIGHLY recommend brides and grooms to choose this venue – you’ll be so glad you did!
